I’ve been struggling with Procreate since I first got it back in 2016, don’t get me wrong, it’s an amazing powerful tool, but every time I tried it, I had to waste my time trying to find a brush that could do what I intended. And it never happened, in all this time, after many tries, probably all the thousands of packages that you find on the Internet.
So I decided to create my own and here’s the result. I used my favorite Photoshop brushes as a starting point and built from there. If you come from Ps, you will probably find some – indeed welcome – similarities. I have not included some of them that I think are necessary, for example a large soft airbrush or something else to paint correctly, they are already included in Procreate.

I really liked the idea of strokes with canvas textures and half-dried paint on brush tip. It creates beautiful dynamic effect in your illustrations.
After I made tons of pain strokes, I selected the best ones and started making magic in Adobe Illustrator. I cleaned all messy parts and vectorized them in high resolution.
But no one likes the slowing brushes, so I kept it “draw-friendly” – you can draw with them without your computer is going mental!
Recently I started using Ipad Pro with Adobe Illustrator (with Astropad app) so I made a pressure sensitiveversion of the brushes.
