Method 1: Manual Solutions

The user must activate the built-in administrator. This issue can be handled manually. Execute the five steps carefully and only then proceed.

Step 1: Activation of Built-in Administrator:

  • Press the window keys.

  • Right-click on the CMD/Command Prompt/ enter CMD 

  • Select Run as administrator.

  • Type “net user administrator /active: yes” in the command prompt window.

  • Hit the Enter key.

Step 2: Switching to the built-in Administrator Account:

  • Press the Ctrl + Alt + Delete together and click on the Switch User Windows 8 users

  • Tap on the windows tab and then on the user icon on the upper right of the system.

  • Use the combo Ctrl + Alt + Delete simultaneously, and then select the default Administrator account.

Step 3: Hiding built-in Administrator Account:

  1. Tap the Windows button on the keyboard.

  2. Enter CMD.

  3. Right-clicking on the CMD/ Command Prompt/ cmd.exe
